Rajasthan SET 2023: Notification of Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET-Rajasthan State Eligibility Test 2023) has been issued for the candidates who want to become Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of Rajasthan. SET is being organized in Rajasthan after a long time. For the last few months, the candidates of Rajasthan were continuously demanding to organize SET. The last time SET was organized in Rajasthan by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission in the year 2013. That is, it is going to be set after 9 years whereas UGC NET is conducted twice a year. This time, not RPSC but Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara (GGTU) has been given the responsibility of organizing the SET. The notification of SET has been released on the official website of GGTU www.ggtu.ac.in. The applications will start tomorrow on 12 January 2023 at ggtu.ac.in and sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin and will run till 11 February 2023. The SET exam will be held on March 19, 2023.

There is no upper age limit.

Qualification

Unreserved, EWS Candidates- Master's Degree or its equivalent with at least 55% marks.  Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Divyang students with at least 50% marks in Master's degree or equivalent examination./

Rajasthan SET will have two papers. Both will have objective type questions. There will be no break between the two papers. The first paper will be of 100 marks in which 50 questions will come from Teaching Research Aptitude. Paper II will have 100 questions for 200 marks. These questions will be related to the subject of the student. A total of three hours will be available for both the papers

Marking Scheme
  • Each question will carry 02 marks.
  • For each correct answer, the candidate will get 02 marks.
  • There will be no negative marks for wrong answers. There is no negative marking
Application Fee
  • For General,  SBC, OBC (Creamy Layer) of Rajasthan and outside the state – Rs 1500
  • For EWS / SBC / OBC (Non Creamy Layer) of Rajasthan – Rs 1200
  • For SC and ST and all Divyang candidates of Rajasthan:  Rs 750
