Ministry of Education (by Government of India) has added a new subject in Agriculture and Allied Sectors for National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2023, for which applications are invited from educational institutions. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) can register for the India Rankings on the official website of NIRF at nirfindia.org. The last date for registration in NIRF Ranking is 18 November 2022 till 5 PM. With this, the name of the architecture discipline has been changed to Architecture and Planning.

National Institutional Ranking Framework has released a new category for NIRF Ranking 2023. As per the official statement released by the Ministry of Education, a new category has been released for NIRF Ranking 2023 in which agriculture and allied sectors have been added. The institutes who wish to submit their registration for NIRF India Ranking can apply till 18 November 2022 at the official website - nirfindia.org.

This time agriculture and allied sectors have also been added to this list, due to which the total number of categories has gone up to 12. And even before 2022, the total number of categories was 10. The ministry had added the category of research institute last year in 2022. As per the notice released by NIRF, Agriculture and allied sector has been added. Institutions willing to participate can register under Agriculture and allied sectors, Composite and Research category.

The registrations for NIRF India Ranking are going on and will close on the last date of registration i.e. 18th November 2022 at 5 PM. The registration for India Rankings 2023 started on 17th October 2022. The institutions registering for NIRF ranking will be scored on the basis of 5 parameters.
